The burnt material will have a smell reminiscent of burning hair, and the resulting ash will consist of black fragments without any charred residue. Visually, pure wool felt feels soft and elastic, with a fine and uniform texture. In contrast, synthetic fiber felt is a blend of wool and synthetic fibers, making it more affordable than pure wool felt. However, it still retains the warmth and softness characteristic of pure wool felt. Synthetic fiber felt can also be differentiated from pure wool felt by its distinct burning odor and the scent of its ashes; in terms of hand feel, it can be classified as high-quality.
